About the Foundation
The True Grit Foundation is dedicated to uniting and empowering the extended UMBC Men's Lacrosse family, both present and past, to foster a strong and supportive community. Being a Retriever doesn’t fade away after graduation, it is a bond that lasts a lifetime. We are committed to enriching the lives of current team members and alumni by providing events, sponsorships, and unwavering support, all of which reflect the values of legacy, family, and grit.

Support the Current Team: We strive to provide essential support, resources, and mentorship to the current UMBC Men's Lacrosse team, helping them achieve excellence on and off the field.

Teammates Helping Teammates: We extend a helping hand to alumni and their families facing challenging life events by offering assistance, resources, and guidance.
